1930 - 1939
This was a time of poverty, of making do with what you had. Farms were less than productive and motorized vehicles were reconstructed to be pulled by horses - Bennett buggies.
The Manitou Normal School provided teacher training from 1892 to 1933, teaching prospective teachers the norms expected of their students. This photo shows the 1931 class of graduates.
